Website Terms of Service
1. Website and App Scope
These terms cover nanogoat.io and its website account, waitlist, beta-signup, and support features operated by nanoGOAT LLC, a Colorado limited liability company. By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website.
The free AAC app has no accounts and is governed by the AAC Terms. The Parent app is for adults, is in testing before public release, and has separate Parent Terms. Its cloud sync applies to Parent content. A website account does not upload or sync AAC content. The Website Privacy Policy explains website data practices.
2. Adult Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create a website account. Provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access. The website and Parent use a shared account. AAC does not require or use that account.
You can browse public pages without signing in. Some account, waitlist, and beta functions require sign-in. Do not create an account for a child to use.
3. Waitlists, Beta Access, and Communications
Joining a waitlist asks us to contact you about that product. It does not guarantee a release date or access. Beta participation requires the separate agreement presented during signup. A waitlist or beta signup does not purchase a subscription or automatically enroll you in a paid plan.
We use your submitted contact details for the requested account, support, waitlist, or beta purpose. Newsletter preferences are separate where offered. Contact us if you want to leave a waitlist or stop optional communications.
4. Acceptable Use and Submitted Content
Our commitment to your data
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information or family content with advertisers, data brokers, or other companies for their own marketing or independent commercial use. Your data is not a product we provide to others.
Service providers may process the information needed to operate, secure, and improve the services you use, as disclosed in the applicable Privacy Policy. We require those providers to limit their use to those services, not their own advertising or independent commercial purposes. We may also disclose information when you direct us to do so or when required by law. These limited purposes do not authorize selling your data.
Do not misuse sign-in systems, access another person's account without permission, distribute malware, interfere with the website, or use it unlawfully. You must have the right to submit content you send us, including any information about someone else.
You retain ownership of your submissions. You permit us to process them as needed to provide the requested service and support. If you submit product suggestions, we may use them to improve our products without compensation. This does not authorize us to publish your family content or use your identity or review as an endorsement.
5. Website Materials and External Services
nanoGOAT and its licensors retain their rights in website text, graphics, software, branding, and other materials, subject to applicable third-party licenses. You may use the website for its intended purposes. Nothing in these terms limits uses permitted by law or applicable licenses.
External links, videos, sign-in providers, and app stores are governed by their own terms. Website information is general product information, not medical, diagnostic, or therapeutic advice. Products do not replace professional care or emergency services.
6. Availability, Account Closure, and Consumer Rights
We may change or discontinue website features or restrict misuse, subject to applicable law. You may stop using the website at any time. Request deletion at Delete account; this affects the shared website and Parent account. The confirmation page and privacy policies explain what is deleted and what requires separate handling. AAC app access and local content are unaffected. Account deletion does not cancel app-store billing.
The website is provided as available. To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, or restricts honest reviews, lawful complaints, or reports to regulators.
7. Governing Law, Updates, and Contact
Colorado law governs these terms, subject to consumer rights and jurisdiction rules that cannot be waived. We update the date and provide required notice before material changes take effect. Product-specific terms govern the relevant app; these terms govern the website.
